This is just going to be a quick post, but I want to discuss something very cool that I’ve been doing lately. You might have heard of binaural audios, which are basically special audio tracks that you listen to through headphones. They supposedly work by playing a specific frequency that resonates within your brain (I’m just “scientifically paraphrasing” to the extreme here so don’t hate on me if this isn’t 100% accurate). Different frequencies elicit a different response, which means that some binaural audio tracks are used for improving mood, others for making you sleepy, and finally some for improving focus – as well as memory and concentration.

Next time you’ve got a spare hour sit down with a good pair of headphones and listen to this track:

It’s been especially designed to help improve your focus, memory, and alertness.

There are loads of great binaural audios on YouTube. However, I’ve been experimenting with the premium ones available from My Mind Shift. You have to pay a small fee to get access (around $50) but the beats are higher quality than those on YouTube and that seems to elicit a better response for me at least. Check out My Mind Shift binaural audios here for yourself and let me know what you think about them.
